The Company announces the launch of a new product, Tasuko Batter Mix, an innovative cassava flour with gluten-free, no MSG that make fried dishes delicious and crispy for up to 40 minutes. The company developed cassava flour to be batter mix and baking mix, which targeting on fried dish lovers and health lovers. UBS continues to expand its business in the domestic market.

Miss Sureeyot Khowsurat, Chief Executive Officer and President of UBE on behalf of UBS, one of Thailand's largest manufacturers and distributors of processed cassava products, revealed that the world market situation of wheat flour prices has reached the highest point in years. The high demand of wheat flour has resulted in a shortage of supply as the wheat flour is the main raw material used in various food industries

As a result, the cassava flow has received more attention and market demand. Cassava flour has similar properties and texture to wheat flour. Therefore, it can be wheat flour substituted. Moreover, cassava flour is “gluten-free” product that meet the market’s trend as it is preferred by health-conscious and gluten intolerance people.
